The tool enables the correct positioning of the exhaust camshaft in the assembly position for the adjustment or replacement of the variable valve timing gears. NOTE: The gear must be held with an additional tool during loosening/tightening. To perform the adjustment/replacement, only the upper part of the valve cover needs to be removed without having to dismantle the vacuum pump.
